This next section will highlight some of my key learning in relation to the courses taken throughout the program. Although this is not a comprehensive overview, I have tried to identify the practical skills and reflective components that have become essential to my developing practice as a leader in social work.
During this program I had to take a temporary leave, which allowed me to partake in courses spanning two different cohorts, and was so warmly welcomed into a new cohort. All learning in these courses was entirely shaped and enhanced by the practice excellence, insights, and wisdom of my colleagues, thereby teaching me that true learning always happens in relationship with others. As they say, "it's not where you go, but who you meet along the way" (The Wizard of Oz, 1939).
